Lifetime Warranty Policy

1. What This Lifetime Warranty Covers

Crestring provides a Lifetime Warranty against manufacturing defects in materials and workmanship for the lifetime of the original purchaser.

This includes:

  • Structural defects in metal caused by manufacturing

  • Faulty stone settings due to workmanship

  • Clasp or closure failure resulting from manufacturing defects

  • Engraving or crest application defects caused during production

If a covered defect is confirmed, Crestring will:

  • Repair the item at no cost (parts and labor), or

  • Replace the item with the same or a comparable design if repair is not possible.


2. What This Warranty Does Not Cover

This warranty does not cover:

  • Normal wear and tear (scratches, dents, oxidation, plating wear, surface fading)

  • Accidental damage (drops, impacts, crushing, bending)

  • Lost or stolen items

  • Stone loss caused by impact or improper handling

  • Damage from chemicals (chlorine, perfumes, lotions, cleaning agents)

  • Improper use, misuse, or neglect

  • Unauthorized repairs or modifications

  • Resizing requests (unless defect-related)

  • Design changes or customization alterations after production

  • Damage caused by commercial use or abnormal conditions


3. Eligibility

This warranty applies only to the original purchaser and is non-transferable.

Proof of purchase is required (order confirmation email or order number).


4. What “Lifetime” Means

“Lifetime” refers to the reasonable usable life of the product under normal wear conditions.

Crestring reserves the right to determine whether an issue qualifies as a manufacturing defect or normal wear.


5. Shipping Responsibility

Customers are responsible for:

  • Shipping the item to Crestring for inspection and repair

  • Covering all return shipping costs

We strongly recommend using a trackable and insured shipping method. Crestring is not responsible for items lost or damaged during transit to us.

If the issue is confirmed as covered under warranty, repair labor and parts are free. Shipping costs remain the responsibility of the customer.


6. How to Submit a Warranty Claim

To initiate a warranty claim, please email:

Include:

  1. Your order number

  2. Full name used for purchase

  3. Clear photos or short video of the issue

  4. Brief description of the problem

Our team will review your request and provide next steps.


7. Repairs Outside Warranty

If the issue is not covered under warranty, we may still offer a paid repair service, including:

  • Polishing and refinishing

  • Stone resetting

  • Ring resizing (if design allows)

  • Re-plating services

A repair estimate will be provided before any paid work is performed.


8. Jewelry Care Guidelines

To preserve your Crestring piece:

  • Remove before swimming, showering, or heavy activity

  • Avoid exposure to perfumes, lotions, and chemicals

  • Store separately to prevent scratching

  • Clean gently with a soft cloth

Proper care ensures lasting beauty and durability.


9. Limitation of Liability

This warranty is limited to repair or replacement of the item. Crestring is not responsible for incidental or consequential damages to the maximum extent permitted by law.


10. Policy Updates

Crestring reserves the right to modify this policy at any time. The warranty terms in effect at the time of purchase will apply to that order.
